The Albion Public Schools are located in the City of Albion, about 30 miles east of Battle Creek and 50 miles southwest of Lansing. Our district is known for its rich cultural and ethnic diversity and meaningful collaborations with community partners, including Albion College, the City Recreation Department, and the Albion Ministerial Association. We offer educational opportunities that guide and encourage every student to reach his or her full potential. Albion's co-curricular offerings include a very strong instrumental music program and a track team that is known for winning state championships. Through the City's partnership with our Sister Cities, Noisy-le-Roi and Bailly, France, and our dedicated staff and parents, numerous student exchanges occur.

Our district has an enrollment of about 860 students who are in three school buildings staffed by nearly 70 teachers and additional administrative and support personnel. From our preschool through high school programs, we offer a well-rounded curriculum. APS is a member of the Battle Creek Area Math and Science Center and enrolls students there as well as at the Calhoun Area Career Center. We are pleased to offer a wide variety of educational opportunities for our students.

Our administrative offices are located within our building at 225 Watson Street, Albion MI 49224.

Please browse our website pages to find out more about APS. Feel free to contact us with any questions about our district. Should you wish to work with us, we have many volunteer opportunities available!
